UPSCALE COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL BUILDER RETAINS FABBRO & COMPANY PUBLIC ADJUSTERS AND RECEIVES $345,000 HURRICANE “IRMA” SETTLEMENT PAYMENT in Fort Myers, Florida
Hurricane “IRMA” struck Fort Myers, Forida in 2017, causing major damage to residential and commercial structures. Custom homebuilder and commercial contractor, Turano Builders, took a direct hit from the storm causing catastrophic roof and interior damage to their home offices.
After the storm, ownership put their carrier on notice of the loss. Several weeks passed with no action or advance payments from the insurance company. With 100% of their focus on existing customer projects and coordinating emergency repairs to their building, the owners quickly realized they did not have the time or expertise to prepare the large claim and deal with the carrier.
The Turano’s reached out to Fabbro & Company in Ft. Myers to meet and discuss how Public Adjusters can play a critical role in assessing and negotiating large, complicated claims. Dante Fabbro’s firm was immediately engaged and took control of the claim.
After assessing and thoroughly documenting the loss, a claim proposal was presented to ownership, approved, and forwarded to the insurance company adjuster for consideration. After joint on-site meetings with the adjuster and intense “back and forth” negotiations, a net settlement payment of $375,00 was delivered to the client allowing them to comfortably cover all costs and expenses related to their loss.
