This single-family rental property, located in St. Petersburg, FL Pinellas County, sustained major fire, smoke, and water damage after a blaze engulfed the kitchen. Though the property owner was aggressively solicited by insurance restoration contractors and public adjusters immediately following the loss, he made the decision to postpone retaining professional help in the hopes Citizens Property Insurance adjusters would accurately assess and fully pay for his losses.
Upon receipt of the Citizens adjusters estimate and payment, the homeowner interviewed several public adjusters for professional advice on how to proceed. After conducting a no-cost inspection of the home and reviewing the insurance company’s estimate, Dante R. Soon after the claim was submitted, the original Citizens field adjuster worked with Mr. Fabbro and a supplemental payment of $23,000 (Total of $107,000) was secured which equated to approximately 27% more than the first Citizens adjustment.
